Floating Assistant Branch Manager II (Retail Banking)

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States; onsite branch role. The schedule is 40 hours per week and includes 2–3 Saturdays per month, with changes possible based on business needs.

Salary: $48,416.00–$79,541.75 per year, plus potential incentive and retention awards.

What you will do

• Partner with the Retail Office Manager to direct branch activities and achieve sales and service objectives.
• Serve customers directly while strengthening existing relationships and attracting new customers.
• Conduct monthly coaching sessions and foster Associate engagement.
• Direct business development activities and oversee branch operations, controls, procedures, and scheduling.
• Partner with mortgage, wealth management, commercial lending, and other departments to grow customer relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail banking experience.
• At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience in a retail banking environment.
• Previous consultative sales experience.
• Experience with branch operations, policies, controls, and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of deposit and retail loan products, teller operations, financial fundamentals, and payment calculations.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, plus basic computer proficiency.
