District Manager (Elevator)

Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada

Total compensation: $200,000–$250,000 based on experience, plus bonus plans.

What you will do

• Oversee district safety programs, legislative compliance, audits, training, risk management, and incident investigations.
• Lead daily district operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective performance and delivery of financial commitments.
• Attract, develop, recognize, retain, and engage talent through succession planning and targeted development initiatives.
• Provide direction to leaders, communicate policies and objectives, and ensure accountability for results.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, operational processes, employee performance management, and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with consultants, building owners, property managers, the union, and internal teams across Canada and North America.

Requirements

• Experience in the elevator and/or construction industry.
• Strong general management experience with a solid understanding of P&L management.
• Bachelor's degree, extensive equivalent industry and management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of branch or department-level management experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Proven success building teams and leading and developing people, with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive change.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the territory and surrounding region as operationally required.
