Field Technician (Medtech)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite customer support with up to 90% regional travel

Salary: $25–$31 per hour

What you will do

• Provide onsite and telephone product support for assigned customer accounts.
• Deploy equipment, assist customers with equipment application, and perform onsite troubleshooting.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, software upgrades, and service activities for covered devices.
• Document support activity, maintain customer account information, and submit monthly status reports.
• Escalate customer issues and participate in meetings with service management and regional managers to create action plans.
• Maintain test equipment and follow calibration and rotation schedules.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Credit card in good standing for travel-related expenses.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience using computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
