IT Manager (Security Clearance Eligibility)

What you will do

• Lead the IT staff and provide technical leadership, mentorship, project coordination, and executive status updates.
• Manage and optimize VMware vSphere, Synology SAN/NAS storage, enterprise networks, LAN/WLAN, MPLS/WAN, VPNs, and monitoring systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365 GCC High, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Cisco DUO MFA, Autodesk Vault, endpoint protection, and Zero Trust tooling.
• Maintain backup, archival, business continuity, disaster recovery, hardware lifecycle, deployment, and end-user support processes.
• Implement technical remediation and provide evidence for CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, SSP, POA&M, and C3PAO assessment activities.
• Manage IT budgets, purchasing, vendors, service contracts, warranties, infrastructure planning, policies, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Security clearance eligibility is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere, Microsoft Active Directory or Entra ID, and enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC technical controls, with the integrity required to handle Controlled Unclassified Information.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, planning, communication, and organizational skills; ability to lift IT equipment up to 50 pounds when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Defense Industrial Base or another federally regulated environment.
• CCNA or CCNP, VMware VCP-DCV, MCSE or MCSA, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
