What you will do
- Develop, manage, validate, and maintain aircraft, system, and component-level requirements with bidirectional traceability.
- Apply SAE ARP4754A and ARP4761 processes to support safety assessments, certification planning, and compliance activities.
- Author and execute verification plans, procedures, and test reports for laboratory, integration, and system-level testing.
- Coordinate testing for vibration, airframe, fuselage, interiors, environmental control systems, and electric engine systems.
- Model system behavior and support test automation and data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a certification-focused environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical military experience.
- 10+ years of experience on Part 23 or Part 27 aircraft or rotorcraft programs.
- Working knowledge of SAE ARP4754A, ARP4761, FAA Order 8110.4C, RTCA DO-160G, DO-331, and DO-178C.
- Experience with ARP4754A-based verification, requirements-based testing, and traceability audits.
- Proficiency with ALM and verification tools such as Polarion, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience with solid modeling tools such as Onshape, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Experience with Part 23 Amendment 64, ASTM F3338, Part 33 certification, or electric propulsion systems.
- Familiarity with CATIA, ANSYS, Mil-HDBK-217, Mil-HDBK-21, and reliability tools.
- Experience with Python or other test automation frameworks.
- Background in aerospace verification and validation or certification programs for EASA or FAA.
