Java Developer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using modern Java frameworks.
• Develop new functionality and evolve existing components with clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Build containerized, cloud-ready services and contribute to the migration of workloads to AWS.
• Improve observability through metrics, tracing, and logging.
• Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, MCP servers, and LLMs to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and operational automation.
• Partner with portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to translate front-office workflows into robust technical designs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of strong experience with Java and backend development.
• Experience or familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Exposure to AWS or cloud-native engineering concepts, including containers, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Interest or experience in using AI tools for code generation, test creation, documentation, or similar productivity improvements.
• Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-moving front-office environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate closely with business users.
