What you will do

• Design and deliver high-performance, low-latency Java code for the exchange platform.
• Profile and resolve performance bottlenecks within the order-processing path.
• Improve system stability through comprehensive unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Raise standards for code quality, automation, and system architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and product managers to scale the platform.

Requirements

• Strong Java 17+ fluency with proven experience in performance tuning.
• Track record of building systems for high throughput and low latency.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI development, including LLM integration and prompt engineering.
• Solid understanding of middleware and messaging technologies like Chronicle Queue, RabbitMQ, Aeron, or Kafka.
• Working knowledge of Spring or Micronaut, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with core trading functionality such as order matching and orderbook generation.
• Familiarity with financial derivative products (Options, Futures) and the FIX protocol.
• Understanding of blockchain technologies.
