What you will do

• Lead the analysis, documentation, and prioritization of requirements for the next-generation client reporting platform.
• Support Japan-specific portfolio reporting, performance analytics, and multi-channel report distribution capabilities.
• Partner with Japan-based business users, client service teams, product owners, and global technology teams.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and platform teams.
• Ensure regional workflows and regulatory considerations align with the broader global platform strategy.
• Provide subject matter expertise across client reporting, portfolio data, investment analytics, and report distribution.

Requirements

• Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and verbal, is essential.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst.
• Experience in asset management, investment management, or financial services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of client reporting, performance reporting, portfolio data, and investment analytics.
• Experience analyzing data and using SQL from a business-domain perspective.
• Ability to collaborate across local business functions and global technology teams.
