Senior Strategy and Performance Lead

CP One Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of hirify.global, operates Rocket Now, a technology-enabled food delivery service using hirify.global's logistics capabilities.

What you will do

• Own and improve key operational performance metrics across the delivery operation.
• Monitor business performance, identify operational risks, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Analyze operational data, identify trends and root causes, and translate insights into scalable solutions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve service quality and efficiency.
• Lead and develop multiple real-time operational teams and managers through goal setting, coaching, and performance management.
• Communicate performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership while partnering with Marketplace, Customer Service, Planning, Marketing, and Operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing large-scale operational organizations in logistics, marketplaces, e-commerce, consulting, or related fields.
• Strong ability to manage complex operational KPIs and performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability in driving business outcomes.
• Experience working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, operational analytics, or performance reporting.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs and operational transformation initiatives.
• Korean language proficiency.
