Epitaxy/FEP Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Icheon-Gwango, South Korea. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation eligible: No.

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, servicing, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced processes for semiconductor chip manufacturing.
• Design hypothesis experiments and design-of-experiments studies, analyze results statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process and customer product issues and perform root cause analyses.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to build trusted working relationships and achieve technical goals.
• Apply knowledge of company processes and customer requirements to evaluate solutions and resolve problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a semiconductor fabrication or equipment industry.
• English communication proficiency is required.
• Ability to support complex process engineering experiments, equipment troubleshooting, and customer issues.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
