Senior Engineer, Customer Quality Engineering (CMP)

What you will do

• Act as the primary customer quality representative for CMP Pad products.
• Investigate customer quality issues and complaints, perform root cause analysis, define corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.
• Lead customer communications on product quality, reliability, and technical performance.
• Coordinate R&D, manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to resolve customer concerns.
• Analyze quality data, warranty claims, customer returns, field performance trends, and customer quality KPIs.
• Support customer audits, quality reviews, technical meetings, corrective action reporting, and NPI quality validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of experience in quality engineering, customer quality, product engineering, or related functions within the semiconductor industry.
• Experience handling customer quality issues and leading problem-solving activities.
• Strong knowledge of 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively.
• Business-level English communication skills required, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Experience with CMP processes, CMP consumables, or semiconductor materials.
• Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes and semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting global semiconductor customers.
• CQE or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification.
• Familiarity with customer audits, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
