What you will do

• Develop and demonstrate plasma etch processes to meet specific performance requirements.
• Perform process troubleshooting and root cause analysis using analytical equipment.
• Optimize processes across various product platforms and conduct long-duration testing.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Provide factory-based technical support to field teams and global customers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on new product development and patent applications.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Newport, UK.
• Degree in a relevant discipline (PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's) with industrial experience.
• Proven experience in plasma etch processing within a semiconductor environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of metrology techniques.
• Practical experience with endpoint detection techniques.
• Ability to travel internationally as required by business needs.
