What you will do

• Relate process variables to device parameters and ratings to improve yield and establish process capability for new products.
• Process customer, Sales, management, and internal information to support product data, performance documentation, and data sheets.
• Initiate, revise, and update reference notes, application notes, UL listings, SIDACtor catalogues, and data sheets.
• Coordinate problem solving between fabrication and assembly/test, analyze project issues, and implement corrective actions based on failure analysis and reliability testing.
• Plan activities required to produce quality, manufacturable, and profitable products, including cost-saving and yield-improvement projects.
• Work with Product Management, Engineering, manufacturing groups, customers, and New Product Development teams on customer needs, process and equipment development, prototypes, pilot production, and product capability data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Semiconductor, Electrical, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics/Statistics.
• At least 10 years of total experience in the semiconductor industry with experience in two or more of semiconductor design, semiconductor manufacturing processes or equipment, electrical testing procedures or equipment, customer applications, and materials selection.
• Experience working in or with a foundry.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and a CAD system such as AutoCAD, CADKEY, or SolidWorks.
• Extensive written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability in the design and analysis of experiments.
• Presentation experience.
