What you will do
- Relate process variables to device parameters and ratings to improve yield and establish process capability for new products.
- Maintain product performance information and update reference notes, application notes, UL listings, catalogues, and data sheets.
- Coordinate technical problem solving between fabrication, assembly, and testing teams.
- Evaluate failure analysis and reliability testing results and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Plan manufacturing activities, prototype and pilot-production processes, equipment, quality improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Work with product management, engineering, operations, customers, and sales teams to define product needs and solve silicon-based protection requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in semiconductor, electrical, materials, chemical engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, or statistics.
- At least 10 years of semiconductor industry experience, including two or more areas such as semiconductor design, manufacturing, electrical testing, customer applications, or materials selection.
- Experience working in or with a foundry.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and a CAD system such as AutoCAD, CADKEY, or SolidWorks.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation experience, and capability in design and analysis of experiments.
