Sr Manager, ADAS (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; in-person presence at the hirify.global office four days per week, with one flexible workday. Occasional travel may be required for company events, supplier engagements, testing activities, or industry forums.

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing all-electric pickup trucks and rugged SUVs, including all-electric and range-extender powertrain options.

What you will do

• Define and own the ADAS roadmap and long-term strategy across current and future vehicle platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and scale the ADAS organization, including staffing plans, organizational structures, and capability roadmaps.
• Represent ADAS in executive leadership forums, board-level discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Manage the ADAS budget, including planning, tracking, justification, and risk communication.
• Partner with Systems, Software, Hardware, Validation, Safety, Regulatory, and Product leaders to define feature content, requirements, and vehicle-level specifications.
• Oversee ADAS testing, validation, calibration, release processes, governance, metrics, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of automotive experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles with direct responsibility for ADAS development.
• Deep technical expertise in ADAS architectures, features, and automotive safety systems.
• Experience building, leading, and scaling technical teams, with the ability to develop talent and drive accountability.
• Strong knowledge of ADAS calibration, validation, testing methodologies, and system-level performance trade-offs.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration, executive communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience within the Volkswagen Group, particularly in ADAS or automated driving programs.
