What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Linux-based infrastructure for command, telemetry, simulation, and test automation.
• Build and evolve test execution tools for virtualized hardware, HIL/SIL setups, and integrated vehicle-in-the-loop testing.
• Collaborate with avionics, ground software, and flight software teams on deliverables, integration points, and operational readiness.
• Mentor and coach Vehicle Software Infrastructure engineers while helping reduce technical risk.
• Evaluate infrastructure and interfaces between ground and vehicle software to improve robustness and tool performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience leading high-performing engineering teams delivering software infrastructure for complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for coordination across engineering, ground software, integration, and executive teams.
• Experience scaling engineering teams through hiring, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Deep experience debugging complex system issues, driving root cause analysis, and applying systems assurance concepts such as redundancy, fault tolerance, or formal verification.

• Prior experience in the space industry.
