What you will do

• Build, lead, and mentor a team developing flight-critical software compliant with DO-178C.
• Coordinate flight software development, verification, and certification for the electric powertrain, including motor control.
• Define and document software development and verification processes for safety-critical certification.
• Collaborate with certification and safety specialists on the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification.
• Guide in-house software architecture and design to support testing and analysis.
• Lead SOI 1–4 audits, DO-178C compliance, DO-330 tool qualification, and KPI-based process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• At least 120 months of experience with C programming, aerospace software development, DO-178, safety-critical software, and the software development life cycle.
• Experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Engineering Manager, or in a related role.
