Senior Product Manager (Semiconductors)

Location: San Jose, CA, United States

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global is developing an energy-efficient general-purpose processor for continuous AI/ML intelligence in IoT devices, using standard high-level programming languages and AI/ML frameworks.

What you will do

• Own customer-facing technical content, including datasheets, product briefs, application notes, benchmark reports, and developer materials.
• Maintain competitive teardowns, benchmark methodologies, and system-level analyses that inform product, sales, and executive decisions.
• Partner with Marketing Technologies to build interactive tools for evaluating energy, performance, and system fit.
• Define readiness criteria and drive lifecycle decisions for evaluation and reference platforms spanning hardware, software, documentation, examples, and shipment readiness.
• Maintain authoritative product records for customer and partner engagements, including commitments, deliverables, acceptance criteria, decision dates, and scope changes.
• Identify gaps between product requirements and engineering execution and drive them to explicit decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in semiconductors, embedded systems, or a related hardware and software platform business.
• End-to-end ownership of substantial customer-facing technical content or analysis, from identifying the need through delivery.
• Experience working with customer engineering teams and translating technical findings into product, requirements, or content decisions.
• Technical depth to understand datasheets, evaluate system-level tradeoffs, and work credibly with hardware and software engineers.
• Willingness to travel for customer, partner, and industry engagements.

Nice to have

• Experience in applications or systems engineering, technical or product marketing, evaluation hardware, platform ownership, or semiconductor product management.
• Experience with microcontrollers or processors, compilers, SDKs, firmware, runtimes, or AI/ML deployment frameworks.
• Experience building technical content workflows, benchmarking energy or performance, or developing analytical and automation tools.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Notion.
