Global Product Management Marketing IV (Semiconductor Software & Automation)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States. Travel is required up to 20% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $152,000–$208,500 per year, with potential bonus and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Translate production, NPI, and high-volume manufacturing ramp needs into software and automation capability requirements.
• Define and maintain capability roadmaps covering controls, sensing, automation workflows, analytics, closed-loop control, fault detection, and recipe optimization.
• Develop product, business, and marketing strategies for premium software, including market analysis, value propositions, ROI models, and investment recommendations.
• Lead competitive intelligence, differentiation, pricing, packaging, feature tiering, and premium software offer development.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and field teams to deliver customer-ready releases, documentation, enablement, demos, and account strategies.
• Manage products throughout their lifecycle, including launch planning, adoption acceleration, feedback loops, and sunset plans.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Controls, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor equipment product development, controls or automation engineering, applications engineering, equipment software systems, sensor or metrology integration, or process control systems.
• Experience translating application needs into software or capability requirements and driving cross-functional execution.
• Experience with complex systems involving motion or robotics, vacuum, sensors, interlocks, control loops, stability improvement, or automation sequencing.
• Technical expertise in software and automation for semiconductor or equivalent capital equipment, including controls, sensors, automation workflows, equipment operation, software architecture, system integration, and applications.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders with data-driven narratives and quantified customer outcomes.
