Principal Product Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Jose, CA, USA

Salary: USD 180,000–220,000 yearly

What you will do

• Own the software, firmware, and AI/ML roadmap for the TCU platform, including BMC/RMC management software, security capabilities, and on-chip inference.
• Translate the platform vision into PRDs, acceptance criteria, prioritized requirements, and shippable product capabilities.
• Coordinate roadmap decisions across firmware, software, hardware architecture, ASIC engineering, security, QA, and marketing.
• Lead technical discussions with hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, and cloud service providers to capture integration requirements and customer feedback.
• Define feature priorities and trade-offs across concurrent development programs, while supporting product launches and technical positioning.
• Establish product management practices, mentor PMs, and take on future people-management responsibilities.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product management experience in semiconductors, embedded systems, or systems software, including shipped firmware or software products.
• Deep knowledge of BMC/RMC, data center platform management firmware, out-of-band management, boot firmware, and platform telemetry.
• Technical foundation sufficient for architecture discussions with firmware and ASIC engineers; embedded software, firmware, or systems architecture experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience gathering technical requirements from principal engineers and architects at major cloud, OEM, or ODM customers.
• Ability to write clear PRDs, present to executives, represent products externally, and convert an emerging platform vision into a sequenced roadmap.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded or edge AI/ML, hardware security, secure boot, attestation, TPM/fTPM, or cryptography.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-193, OCP Security, DMTF Redfish, SPDM, PLDM, or related standards.
• Experience at a fabless semiconductor company or with AI servers, accelerators, GPUs, AI ASICs, or custom silicon.
