Director, Pharmacy Supply Chain (Pharmacy)

What you will do

• Establish and own the sales and operations planning cadence, including demand inputs, forecasting, capacity reviews, network reviews, and KPI management.
• Convert forecasts into forward-looking visibility for fulfillment partners, pharmacy sites, and Procurement.
• Lead and develop teams across Systems & Formulary, Demand & Supply Planning, and Network & Fulfillment Operations.
• Rebuild pharmacy operations, documentation, workflows, service-level management, routing, and supply continuity processes for scale.
• Partner daily with Product and Engineering to define requirements and replace manual workarounds with scalable infrastructure and automation.
• Own forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, cost management, risk mitigation, and operational readiness for launches and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in supply chain, operations, or production management, including 4+ years leading managers or leads.
• Experience scaling high-volume operations in mail-order or specialty pharmacy, fulfillment, distribution, or regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience building demand and supply planning processes and an S&OP cadence.
• Experience establishing operating structures, documentation, repeatable processes, and operational tooling with Product or Engineering.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication across technical, operational, clinical, and finance functions.

Nice to have

• Experience with 503A or 503B compounding pharmacies, PBMs, mail-order prescriptions, cGMP, or other regulated healthcare operations.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, order routing, API integrations, and systems outside direct control.
• Cold-chain fulfillment, Lean or Six Sigma, and audit or inspection readiness experience.
• Experience building a function that later expanded into multiple leadership lanes.
