Senior Director, Downstream Supply Chain Solutions (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain)

Location: Rockville, Maryland, United States; domestic travel of up to 25% required.

Salary: USD $200,812–$286,157 annually; target annual bonus varies by role level.

What you will do

• Lead commercialization and market adoption of the hirify.global Drug Resiliency Benchmark and Pharmaceutical Product Quality Testing program.
• Build executive-level relationships with GPOs, health systems, IDNs, distributors, wholesalers, pharmacies, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Develop benchmarking tools, resiliency metrics, quality indicators, and supply-chain insights for healthcare purchasing decisions.
• Identify market gaps and create business cases and commercialization pathways for new products, services, benchmarks, and data-driven solutions.
• Build strategic alliances and advocate with U.S. government policymakers for pharmaceutical supply chain resiliency solutions.
• Develop a multi-year portfolio growth strategy and represent hirify.global at industry forums and stakeholder events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, healthcare administration, public health, or a related discipline.
• 11+ years of progressive experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical supply chain, healthcare procurement, strategy, market development, business development, consulting, or related fields.
• 7+ years leading complex projects or initiatives with clear business objectives.
• 5+ years in externally facing roles, including experience influencing healthcare purchasing and supply chain stakeholders.
• Experience developing and launching products, services, business models, or market-facing solutions, as well as building strategic partnerships.
• Deep knowledge of the downstream pharmaceutical supply chain, strong communication and execution skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MBA, MPH, MHA, PharmD, or MS.
• HSPAL Pharmacy Residency or equivalent residency training with supply chain exposure.
• Commercialization experience in complex healthcare or regulated markets.
• Business-to-business marketing and sales experience.
