Apprentice I - Electrical Instrumentation

Location: Raheen, Limerick, Ireland; onsite

Salary: €14.15 per hour during Year 1

What you will do

• Complete all on-site and off-site training required by the SOLAS Electrical Instrumentation Apprenticeship curriculum.
• Provide electrical, instrumentation, and calibration support to Technical Operations, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Operations, and other site functions.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and start up electrical systems, PLCs, automated control systems, and low-voltage systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled electrical and calibration maintenance, including loop checking and instrument tuning.
• Calibrate temperature, pressure, level, flow, analytical, and other instrumentation as required.
• Document maintenance activities according to current GxP standards and follow cGMP and Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.

Requirements

• Leaving Certificate qualification including mathematics and a science or engineering subject.
• Strong technical capability and interest in hands-on learning.
• Ability to work as part of a technical operations team in a large biopharmaceutical worksite.
• Availability to work onsite in Raheen, Limerick, Ireland.
