What you will do

• Develop, modify, test, maintain, and support applications using Node.js and Python.
• Participate in requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle.
• Use Git and GitHub for repositories, branching, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests to support application quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA staff, and system administrators on technical issues and software enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Python.
• Working knowledge of Git and GitHub, including commits, branches, pull requests, and basic code reviews.
• Understanding of software development concepts, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, relational databases, and SQL.
• Public Trust clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docusaurus or another Node.js web framework.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
