Senior Buyer - Directs (Robotics)

hirify.global develops commercially scalable, safe hirify.global robots, including the HMND-01 Alpha platform used in industrial pilots.

What you will do

• Execute procure-to-pay activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier data maintenance in SAP.
• Support RFx processes, tactical sourcing, negotiations, and contract execution across direct material commodities.
• Conduct market research, price analysis, cost-breakdown validation, and commercial-term negotiations.
• Assess supplier risks, resolve performance issues and discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to protect continuity of supply.
• Run MRP in SAP and ensure the timely availability of direct goods and services for manufacturing.
• Support Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Procurement Manager teams across regional operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing, robotics, technology, aerospace, defence, or automotive.
• Experience in scaling direct procurement functions and in procure-to-pay and tactical procurement.
• Experience across mechanical systems, electronics and electrical, electromechanical systems, cables and harnessing, and software and digital licensing.
• Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
• CIPS MCIPS Level 5 or equivalent; strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, negotiation frameworks, and export controls including EAR.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, with SAP highly desirable, plus strong analytical, planning, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM certification.
• Experience implementing supplier relationship management tools such as scorecards, monthly performance reviews, communications plans, risk management, D&B reports, and sanctions-list checks.
