Interim FP&A Director (6 Months FTC)

What you will do

• Prepare and coordinate Board and executive reporting materials, including financial analysis, commentary, and final review.
• Support the company’s three-year plan and connect strategic priorities with financial outcomes.
• Build scenario analyses, sensitivities, and planning assumptions across revenue, costs, headcount, and cash flow.
• Partner with Finance and business leaders to align assumptions and strengthen planning processes.
• Support the SVP, Strategic Finance, VP, Corporate FP&A, and other senior finance leaders with planning, reporting, and strategic analysis.
• Improve reporting cadence, KPI definition, forecasting discipline, and FP&A processes.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance, strategic finance, strategy, management consulting, or FP&A.
• Experience producing Board packs, executive presentations, and decision-support materials for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with a track record of producing accurate planning and reporting outputs.
• Experience working with CFO-level or other senior stakeholders and constructively challenging assumptions.
• Must be based in the UK for the remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, technology, private-equity-backed, or similarly dynamic environments.
• Experience integrating AI into finance or FP&A practices.
