Director, Strategic Finance (SaaS)

Location: United States — Remote

Salary: $200,000–$228,500 USD annually for Zone 1; variable pay and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Define and report on the operating metrics that drive customer acquisition, GRR, NRR, payments adoption, and overall business performance.
• Build and own the framework, KPIs, and three-year financial model for long-term planning, investment prioritization, growth targets, and capital allocation.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and executive leadership to improve performance and guide business decisions.
• Develop insights and execute growth opportunities across product expansion, new revenue models, and M&A.
• Build scalable finance operations using Snowflake and dbt, and apply AI in partnership with the analytics team.
• Lead a high-performing team while maintaining hands-on ownership of financial analysis, reporting, risk management, and business planning.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years of experience across FP&A, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, financial services, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or Big Four accounting.
• 3+ years of managerial experience with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong knowledge of GTM strategy, corporate finance, accounting, three-statement financial modeling, and SaaS KPIs.
• Expert Excel skills, experience building financial models from scratch, and proficiency with financial reporting systems.
• Strong communication, project management, analytical, prioritization, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of NetSuite, Adaptive, and Tableau.
