Staff Accountant

Location: Remote

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable operations, including bill entry, purchase order matching, coding, documentation, and approvals.
• Review AP aging, prepare payment schedules, and process monthly ACH, wire, and credit card payment runs.
• Maintain vendor records and handle vendor correspondence by email and phone.
• Review credit card reports and employee expenses, and assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support month-end close through general ledger reconciliations, as well as annual audits and tax filings.
• Complete annual 1099 filings and ad hoc accounting projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Understanding of GAAP and proficient Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, integrity, and work ethic.

• Experience with Expensify.
