Finance Operations Associate (Accounts Payable Focus)

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Own critical finance processes end to end and identify opportunities to close process gaps.
• Manage vendor onboarding, W-9/W-8 collection, banking-detail verification, master-data hygiene, and payment terms.
• Run weekly accounts payable payment cycles across multiple entities and bank accounts, resolving past-due items.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices where applicable.
• Administer the Ramp corporate card program, including policy enforcement, receipt collection, and coding compliance.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and support month-end close through AP accruals, prepaid schedules, and accurate general-ledger and entity coding.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations; recent graduates and career switchers are welcome.
• Formal accounting training, such as an accounting major or CPA, with fluency in financial-statement reporting.
• Working knowledge of the accounts payable cycle, debits and credits, and basic reconciliation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling repetitive, high-volume work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical buyers.
• Comfort with ambiguity, fast-paced work, and learning new technologies.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Bill.com, Ramp, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Campfire.
• Experience with advanced data analytics tools such as SQL and Python, or interest in developing these skills.
