Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, UK. Candidates must be able to work in the UK without restrictions and successfully complete the required level of UK National Security Vetting.

What you will do

• Develop systems-engineering solutions for military aerospace products, initially focused on pneumatic stores ejection systems.
• Engage with customers to elicit stakeholder requirements and derive realizable product requirements.
• Perform requirements-based verification and validation using manual and scripted methods.
• Produce interface control documents, system design documents, technical proposals, estimates, and presentations.
• Control and manage engineering changes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical oversight and mentoring to Systems Engineers within project teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Degree in an engineering or science discipline, preferably Systems Engineering.
• Awareness of electronic, software, or mechanical engineering development.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Visio, Excel, and Word, and configuration management tools.
• UK work authorization without restrictions and willingness to complete UK National Security Vetting are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with mechanical aerospace products and deep technical knowledge of mechanical or pneumatic systems.
• Technical leadership or coordination of multidisciplinary teams delivering complex mechanical, electronic, and embedded software solutions.
• Experience developing safety-critical solutions according to DO-178, DO-254, or IEC 61508.
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink, change control, and problem-reporting tools and processes.
