Human Resources Specialist

Location: Italy (Remote-First)

Annual gross base salary: €44,000–€47,000 plus variable compensation.

What you will do

• Support onboarding, employee lifecycle events, and terminations as the primary HR contact.
• Manage complex employee relations cases and prepare legally sound documentation.
• Advise clients on benefits, compliance, workforce planning, employment contracts, and risk mitigation.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
• Support performance improvement plans, compensation changes, immigration, and employee mobility matters.
• Lead compliance governance, knowledge transfer, process optimization, automation, and AI adoption across Southern Europe.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of HR experience.
• Fluent French and English; additional languages are a bonus.
• Deep knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations across Southern Europe, particularly France and portage salarial.
• Experience handling complex employee relations matters.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, Slack, and similar collaboration tools.

• Experience in the Employer of Record industry.
• Experience working across additional Southern European countries.
