Field Service Technician I - Dallas TX - Hach (Water Quality Instrumentation)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; US only. Daily travel to customer sites within approximately a 2-hour radius of the home office, with occasional regional travel to other states and overnight stays.

Salary: $29.00–$31.00 USD per hour, plus eligibility for incentive pay.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine repairs, calibration, and verification of hirify.global instrumentation.
• Serve as the on-site technical and service contact for municipal and industrial customers.
• Service equipment at drinking-water and wastewater facilities, refineries, chemical plants, power plants, and food and beverage facilities.
• Prepare accurate service reports supporting billing, inventory, instrument history, and failure tracking.
• Follow company safety procedures, including requirements for work in applicable hazardous locations.
• Complete administrative activities supporting service visits and customer solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate or technical degree is preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with preventive maintenance, technical diagnostics, and repair are required.
• Two or more years of field service or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to rent vehicles and book hotels for business travel under applicable state law.
• Ability to travel daily and complete overnight travel, averaging approximately 65% of the work week.
