Service Technician (Industrial Equipment)

Location: Entirely remote, but candidates must reside within the Ravena, NY area; travel to customer locations and participation in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool are required.

Salary: $24.70–$36.55 per hour, overtime eligible.

What you will do

• Perform preventive service, troubleshooting, and repairs on air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
• Clean customer equipment pads and related components, including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks.
• Install, set, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Communicate completed services, repair options, upgrades, and customer needs to customers and the Service Manager.
• Complete service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documentation.
• Follow safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and provide rotating 24/7/365 on-call support.

Requirements

• Fluent English and a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
• Ability to use computers to complete work orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes, continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
• Must reside within a 30-minute to one-hour commute of the assigned territory and be able to park a branded company service vehicle at the residence.
