Maintenance Automation Technician-$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite production-floor role. Schedule: 4:00 PM–2:00 AM, Wednesday–Saturday or Sunday–Wednesday.

Salary: $32–$38 per hour, plus a $2.50 shift differential, annual bonus eligibility, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and test electrical circuits, production equipment, facility infrastructure, and custom-built machinery.
• Serve as a primary resource for controls and automation maintenance issues, including PLC, HMI, servo and stepper drives, sensors, motor drives, and vision systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Fanuc, Sepro, and Star robots, including pneumatic and electrical inspections.
• Adjust robot program points, servo homing, sensors, inspection programs, test specifications, and automated-equipment part variants.
• Troubleshoot equipment networking, CamLine data output, RJG quarantine connections, and safe restarts after power outages or shutdowns.
• Document work in the computerized work-order system, follow safety procedures, and support continuous quality and process improvement.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree in controls, automation, robotics, electrical, mechanical-electrical, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience and training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on electrical experience, strong mechanical aptitude, advanced troubleshooting skills, and creative problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently, train and support coworkers, and work occasional weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts.
