Legal Intern (Product & AI)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid workplace with work from home up to 2 days per week

A European fintech building a finance workspace for SMEs, combining banking services with financial tools and serving customers across eight European countries.

What you will do

• Draft and negotiate contracts for new products and features across payment and financial tool platforms.
• Analyze banking and payments regulations and apply them to products before launch.
• Draft customer contracts that support the commercial rollout of new products.
• Analyze the EU AI Act and other emerging frameworks for AI implementations.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Product, Strategy, and Growth teams on legal compliance and business objectives.
• Help identify and manage legal priorities proactively.

Requirements

• Master 2 in French Business Law or completion of the bar exam with the goal of undertaking a PPI internship.
• Previous internship or work experience in technology, fintech, or banking.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills with a business-oriented approach.
• Working knowledge of banking, payments, and data protection regulations.
• Fluency in French and English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of a third European language.
