Legal Intern (Defence AI)

hirify.global is a deeptech defence startup developing AI-guided interceptors and the software platform that powers them for NATO-aligned militaries and defence institutions.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and proofread NDAs, teaming agreements, MoUs, subcontracting arrangements, and client contracts.
• Maintain contract templates, registers, execution tracking, signature deadlines, and renewal dates.
• Support the management of the intellectual property portfolio, including patent tracking, invention disclosures, prior art searches, and coordination with external patent attorneys.
• Maintain the multi-entity corporate structure and prepare board resolutions, shareholder documents, and BSPCE-related paperwork.
• Contribute to GDPR/RGPD, export control, and dual-use regulatory compliance projects.
• Conduct legal research and prepare structured memos and briefing notes for counsel, leadership, partners, institutions, and investors.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in law, such as business law, IP law, international law, or a dual law/engineering or law/political science programme.
• Available for a 3–6 month internship.
• Interest in technology, defence, deeptech, or international security.
• Ability to research French corporate law, IP law, defence procurement law, and international trade regulations.
• Top-tier institution preferred, including Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris II Assas, Sciences Po, HEC Droit des Affaires, or equivalent.
