TL;DR
Legal Intern (Data Protection) (GDPR/US Privacy): Supporting regulatory compliance, data protection documentation, privacy notices, data subject rights, and regulator relations for gaming and social media products with an accent on GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, DPIAs, and digital regulation. Focus on analyzing data-related topics, monitoring evolving privacy laws, and drafting clear documentation for products used by over 200 million people.
Location: Paris, France; on-site with remote days

What you will do
- Maintain records of processing activities and support data protection impact assessments.
- Analyze data protection topics related to new features, A/B tests, games, and social media products.
- Monitor GDPR and US data protection regulations, including CCPA, VCDPA, and COPPA.
- Draft and update privacy policies, notices, and internal training materials.
- Handle data subject requests, including access, erasure, and objection requests.
- Support communications with the CNIL and EDPB and follow up on regulatory matters.
Requirements
- Master's student in M2 Law, Digital Law, Data Protection Law, Business Law, or an equivalent program.
- Mandatory 6-month internship or apprenticeship agreement as part of a Master's degree curriculum.
- Strong command of GDPR and strong knowledge of CCPA, VCDPA, and COPPA.
- Strong interest in digital regulation, technology, and gaming.
- Rigorous and autonomous approach with the ability to summarize complex topics.
- Good level of English is essential.

- Previous internship or apprenticeship experience in technology law or data protection.
