What you will do
- Develop and maintain detailed finite schedules for downstream manufacturing operations.
- Monitor schedule execution, identify production risks, and drive mitigation plans.
- Analyze capacity and model alternative scheduling scenarios for demand changes, shutdowns, and new product introductions.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Improve scheduling processes, cycle times, equipment utilization, and planning accuracy through data-driven analysis.
- Develop and communicate KPIs covering schedule adherence, throughput, asset utilization, campaign performance, and planning accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience; or an associate degree plus 2 years; or a bachelor's degree plus 6 months; or a master's degree.
- Relevant experience may be in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Analysis, or Computer Science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and visualize production models.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and optimize schedules across manufacturing assets with different constraints.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across operations, supply chain, and leadership teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience with finite scheduling, production planning, or supply chain scheduling.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement focused on cycle-time reduction, throughput improvement, and asset utilization.
