Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York (Hybrid)

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Build and maintain internal tools, data workflows, and operational web applications.
• Develop Python-based services, automation scripts, and data processing jobs.
• Design and maintain workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
• Build AI-enabled internal tools, including chatbots and RAG-based agent workflows.
• Maintain backend APIs and frontend interfaces for internal systems.
• Improve system reliability, observability, and CI/CD deployment processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with data workflows (ETL, reconciliation, validation).
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments and using Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment configuration.
• Experience with Python web frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Knowledge of observability tools, metrics, and production monitoring.
