Account Associate

Location: Newport Beach, CA; Austin, TX; or New York, NY, United States

Salary: $105,000–$115,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Prepare portfolio reviews, performance attribution, reporting, and responses to institutional client inquiries.
• Analyze economic and fixed-income trends, portfolio structures, investment strategies, and performance insights.
• Coordinate client activity with product specialists, operations, compliance, portfolio managers, and other internal partners.
• Research clients and prospects, monitor allocation trends, and prepare insights for outreach and meetings.
• Maintain CRM records, client activity tracking, pipeline visibility, and business-planning data.
• Use data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, meeting preparation, data aggregation, and workflow scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial services, asset management, investment banking, or accounting.
• Knowledge of and interest in financial markets, fixed income, and portfolio management techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial tools such as Bloomberg, index-provider databases, and query tools.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
• Complete Series 7 and Series 63 within the first six months of employment.

• Progress toward the CFA designation.
