What you will do

• Oversee the quarterly valuation process for private debt and equity positions, utilizing DCF and market approaches.
• Manage price verification for private investments and handle investor and regulatory reporting, including MD&A disclosures.
• Coordinate daily with portfolio managers, fund accounting, operations, and traders.
• Support independent third-party valuation processes and manage internal/external audit reviews.
• Document supporting evidence for key SOX 404 controls to maintain independence and control levels.
• Develop and present valuation analysis to the valuation committee.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience in public or private sectors.
• Working knowledge of Private Equity and Private Debt valuations (DCF, market, and liquidation approaches).
• Strong understanding of WACC, CAPM, and Contingent Claims Analysis models.
• Deep understanding of Fixed Income, Equities markets, and the alternative investment management industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
