HVAC Technician (Chesapeake, VA)

Location: Chesapeake, Virginia, United States. Field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.

Hourly base pay: $18.09–$54.26.

What you will do

• Commission, start up, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, customers, and other partners on installations, repairs, and facility retrofits.
• Use software, handheld devices, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete service work.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and support customer satisfaction across assigned commercial accounts.
• Maintain safety standards and document the use, condition, and accountability of company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA certification.
