What you will do

• Create and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Support product design and development activities from concept through to manufacture.
• Update and modify existing designs in response to project requirements and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, systems, and project engineering teams to ensure design suitability.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical problem-solving activities.
• Ensure all design documentation is maintained in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical CAD design role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and design principles.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical documentation.
• Must be clearable for Security Clearance (BPSS).
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Oxford, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience using Siemens NX.
• Exposure to aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacture (DfM).
• Experience working within a PLM-managed environment.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle and change management processes.
