What you will do

• Participate in the new product development process to ensure timely delivery of manufacturing deliverables.
• Design machinery, tools, and fixtures using 3D solid modeling software.
• Develop and refine manufacturing methods for wholesale construction materials, hardware, and plumbing equipment.
• Initiate productivity projects and manage capital equipment purchases.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean tools to improve process capability, repeatability, and first-pass yields.
• Provide technical support for machining, metal fabrication, assembly, and valve testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and solid modeling software for tool and fixture design.
• Experience with injection molding and injection molding tool design required.
• Experience with a stage gate new product development process required.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience managing capital equipment projects from concept to implementation.
• Knowledge of SAP and Autodesk Inventor.
