Website Production Specialist (SharePoint)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; on-site three days per week

Salary: $82,300–$220,000 base salary per year

hirify.global is an independent, nonprofit research and development company working on national challenges across defense, space exploration, biomedical engineering, and other technical fields.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and ongoing management of hirify.global’s public website, including architecture, performance, accessibility, and content governance.
• Build, configure, and maintain the internal SharePoint Online environment, including intranet pages, team sites, document libraries, and custom web parts.
• Audit, update, and redesign digital content while optimizing website speed, scalability, security, and search visibility.
• Conduct compatibility testing across browsers and devices and implement technical SEO improvements.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to align functionality with business objectives.
• Participate in planning, prototyping, and documentation, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience with internal employee portals and public-facing websites.
• End-to-end experience managing or redesigning a corporate or institutional website.
• Proficiency in HTML, content management systems, Python, JavaScript, Google Analytics, and web development.
• Knowledge of SharePoint development for SharePoint and Microsoft Teams solutions, including Microsoft Graph API and REST API principles.
• Understanding of graphic design, UX/UI, wireframes, mockups, style guides, content optimization, and SEO.
• Associate degree required; a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred. Applicants may be required to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
