Director of Operations, Data Science

Location: Remote - GMR

Salary: $119,000–$160,000 annual, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Direct execution of ongoing SOLE Science data science workstreams.
• Develop internal business optimization strategies and align data initiatives with agency priorities.
• Manage the Data Science team’s Agile development process, including epic planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and coordinate with Growth, Strategy, Enablement, XT, Finance, Agency Tech, and Products teams.
• Support the development of data science solutions for selected clients and participate in client workshops and business development presentations.
• Communicate complex datasets and analytical concepts as clear insights for business leaders, clients, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience contributing to business optimization strategies and using data to address organizational priorities.
• Background in product ownership and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
• Experience managing Agile development activities and prioritizing high-impact workstreams.
• Knowledge of database concepts and proficiency with project management systems such as Jira.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Ability to explain sophisticated analytical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
