Director of Global Strategy & Programs (K-12 AI and Computer Science Education): Setting global strategy and scaling programs, partnerships, and operating systems that expand access to AI and computer science learning outside the U.S. with an accent on market prioritization, partner ecosystems, and measurable educational impact. Focus on designing depth- and breadth-market models, aligning curriculum and teacher development workstreams, and building data-driven systems for execution and reporting.

Location: Remote within the continental United States or onsite in Seattle, WA

Salary: $117,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

  • Define global strategy, goals, KPIs, market approaches, and impact priorities for AI and computer science education.
  • Build and scale programs that enable partners and education ecosystems to deliver learning experiences sustainably.
  • Design depth-market and breadth-market strategies, operating models, and partner frameworks across curriculum, teacher development, marketing, operations, and partnerships.
  • Lead and grow a small Global team, manage its budget, and oversee vendors and contracted partners.
  • Build systems for execution, measurement, and reporting across the partner ecosystem.
  • Represent global programs to ministries of education, government leaders, nonprofit and education partners, and media.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience driving systemic change in K-12 education worldwide, particularly in AI and computer science education.
  • Deep nonprofit experience partnering with ministries of education, school systems, and teacher networks.
  • Experience designing and scaling programs across curriculum, teacher professional development, government relations, and partner enablement.
  • Ability to build data-driven systems that measure program effectiveness and student and teacher impact at scale.
  • Experience aligning diverse teams and partners around measurable outcomes, with the ability to present to boards and funders and engage educators directly.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, work within the continental United States, pass a pre-employment background check, and travel at least twice per year for team events.

Hiring process

  • Informational interview, followed by a take-home assignment of approximately three hours.
  • Interviews with several team members and final interviews.
