Sales Officer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Lagos, Ibadan, or Abeokuta, Nigeria

What you will do

• Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue.
• Identify business opportunities, conduct market research, and build plans to capitalize on market trends.
• Build and maintain strong merchant relationships to support satisfaction and loyalty.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while monitoring sales performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
