Field Services Project Manager (Telecommunications)

Location: Remote, Canada

Salary: CAD 89,100–142,300 annual pay range for the Canadian position. A USA range of USD 96,900–154,700 is also listed.

What you will do

• Deploy medium- to large-scale EF&I projects with medium to high complexity.
• Manage customer expectations, communications, escalations, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build project schedules, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive quality across site and network engineering, installation, testing, and readiness for service.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and vendors to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Maintain project schedules, financials, risks, issues, and other delivery documentation while coaching junior team members.

Requirements

• Technical degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 10 years of telecommunications operational experience and/or project implementation experience.
• At least 8 years in a lead role managing medium- to large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• PMP certification is preferred and must be obtained within one year of hire.

Nice to have

• Subsea deployment experience.
• Business and financial management skills, including project-level P&L.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing critical tasks and resources.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products and technologies.
