What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent construction projects from conceptual development through final closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules using Gantt and PERT charts.
• Define project scope of work (SOW) and bills of materials (BOM) while overseeing procurement.
• Contract and oversee outside consultants, contractors, and internal resources.
• Conduct regular site visits, including bid walks and punch walks, in both urban and rural areas.
• Ensure all wireless communication facilities comply with state, federal, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, management, business, telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional construction or project management experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to travel to remote Alaska locations via aircraft and operate ATV-style vehicles.
• Physical agility to maneuver equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Completion of the NCTI "Managing Real World Projects" course within 6 months of hire.

Nice to have

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Management) certification.
• Prior experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Background in logistics and procurement.
