Project Manager (Healthcare Technology)

Location: Remote - Canada; customer meetings are primarily in North America and may include the UK and Ireland

Salary: CAD 108,000–132,000 per year for roles performed in Ontario and British Columbia

What you will do

• Manage customer relationships and lead software implementations and upgrades from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization.
• Control project scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, resource allocation, and change requests across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Maintain risk registers, resolve issues, activate escalation protocols, and communicate project status to clients and leadership.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, design reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead cross-functional teams across consulting, clinical configuration, technical integration, quality assurance, product development, and support.
• Improve implementation methodologies, playbooks, templates, checklists, and delivery standards.

Requirements

• Experience managing software development projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Proven leadership experience with cross-functional teams and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal English and ability to attend customer meetings primarily in North America, with potential meetings in the UK and Ireland.

Nice to have

• English and French bilingual proficiency for Quebec-based client engagements.
• Experience in healthcare technology, electronic health records, medical device software, kidney care, dialysis, or nephrology systems.
• Experience with public-sector technology projects and healthcare regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of data migration, HL7, FHIR, and Constellation Software operating groups.
• Education in Business Administration or a related field.
